The Misfit Farms Isopod Habitat Kit is the perfect way to settle your isopods into a new habitat! The kit comes with everything you need (isopods sold separately) to house a new colony or to split up an already established colony that needs more space to breed and live. This kit includes one twenty-eight-quart heavy-duty plastic container with pre-drilled holes (lid included), two gallons of carbon-rich bioactive substrate (in-house blend of shredded cardboard, peat moss, manure, and worm castings), two gallons of leaf litter (leaves may vary depending on the season), a handful of sphagnum moss for moisture retention, an upcycled plastic bottle with a lid to use as a hide while the lid can hold food, two or three natural bark hides (varies depending on season and location), a small mister bottle, and a sample pack of our in house Iso Happy Chow.
